A project to work with the ‘hardest to reach young people’ Profile

Through the Vine, we aim to facilitate Christian outreach to young people and the wider community, by providing venues free from compromising pressures.

This will be achieved by involving local Christian, professionals and community workers etc., meeting them at their point of need, irrespective of colour, creed or status in the community, and to offer Christianity to all people, through the ministry of hospitality and social concern. As an innovative Youthwork Charity, working with the hardest to reach young people, our current work can be seen in four areas of work:
Educational Projects, Youth Work, Catering Training Programmes, and Information, Advice and Guidance.

The Vine Trust Walsall operates primarily in the West Midlands boroughs of Walsall, and Sandwell. We run an independant school, which is a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) having a number of service level agreements with Local Education Authorities.

Our Information Advice and Guidance services are to be based from our newly constructed Access Centre (The VAC).
