Home-Start Kettering has been running for nearly 12 years in Kettering but over 30 years nationally. We train volunteers to support families in their own homes by way of a course of preparation run at the William Knibb Centre, one day a week over the course of 8 weeks.

volunteers support families facing a variety of difficulties, including:
Loneliness Isolation

Home-Start volunteers are people from different backgrounds and vary in age, but all have parenting experience.

Families in need of Home-Start are often referred to us via their Health Visitor or Doctor but can Self-refer just by telephoning the office and talking to one of the Co-ordinators.

Volunteers are always needed, if you would like to find out more about becoming a Home-Start volunteer please contact us either by telephoning or drop us a line via e-mail.
