Harrow Family Learning Network Profile

The Harrow Family Learning Network is a charity providing support to parents through parenting classes and groups, One to One Parent Mentoring and Mother Tongue Parenting Groups, which are available in the following languages English, Somali, Tamil, Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Albanian, Serbo-Croatian, German, French, Spanish, Greek, Mandarin and Cantonese. Workshops are offered to parents on topics such as Stress Management, Sibling Rivalry, Helping your child cope with Bereavement or Bullying, Speaking to children about Puberty, Sex and Relationships and Post Separation Parenting. Parents have an opportunity to meet together to discuss ways to develop positive relationships, learn strategies to improve communication with their family and understand their children’s behaviour. We offer training for professionals and have the ability to be flexible in order to respond to needs in the community, working in partnership with schools, community groups, health and social services, Youth Offending Service and others.
