One of the Association’s main aims is to provide up to date information about the disease, its treatment and how to obtain medical advice. It has done this, not only in the UK, but in Europe and other parts of the world. In 1994 it co-founded the European Gaucher Alliance which now includes patient support groups from 24 European countries.
