Brenzett Museum is a unique collection of wartime equipment, remains recovered from aircraft crash sites and memorabilia collected and donated to the Musum since its formation in 1972.
Since those early days voluntary members have attempted to improve the range of exhibits to embrace many aspects of the war. The exibition is located within the original buildings used as a Hostel for the Womens Land Army during the war and part of the exhibition is dedicated to those ladies, Some of the ladies `graffiti` is still evident today !
The Museum has one of the largest Bomb Disposal equipment displays in the U.K. There is also a Barnes Wallis Dambuster Bomb on display outside together with a Canberra Bomber and T11 Dual seat Vampire. There is also a Memorial in the grounds dedicated to those airman who flew from the local Advanced Landing Grounds and also the Womens Land Army personnel. The Museum Trust is a non-profit making concern - a Registered Charity.
The Museum is open from Easter to the end of October and is situated in Ivychurch Road, Brenzett -just off the A 2070.
