British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society Profile
The British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society (BRPS) was founded in 1975 as a registered charity for the benefit of those with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), the greatest cause of blindness in the working population. The BRPS is a self-help group helping its members live with and overcome visual problems and to bring relief by researching the causes and eventually a treatment for RP. This is achieved by funding a range of research projects using money raised, mainly through its branches and fundraising.
