IndependentAge is a national charity, with regional representatives, which helps older people on low incomes to remain independent by providing regular financial help and friendship. We help people over 65 (or over 40 who are infirm or disabled).
Our aim is to assist people to live independently at home with dignity and peace of mind. Priority is given to those who have helped others. We also provide our beneficiaries with: crisis grants; mobility equipment; the friendship of our volunteer visitors; nursing and residential care and help with fees.
IndependentAge is supported financially by donations and legacies.
