Sarum College was established in 1995 as a new kind of theological college, embracing many Christian denominations and traditions, and accessible to all people. The College is now well-known and highly regarded throughout the churches worldwide as one of the most exciting and innovative developments in Christian education.
Sarum College has no endowments, church or government funding. We rely entirely on the income generated by our courses, conferences and accommodation, together with the generosity of individual donors, Trusts and other benefactors.
Sarum College is located in a beautiful building adjacent to Salisbury Cathedral. The original house is attributed to Sir Christopher Wren, and there are later additions - including a chapel - by the Victorian architect Butterfield.
Sarum College offers the experience of community in teaching, learning and research, equipping Christians to connect their faith with ltheir everyday life and work.
Sarum College offers a range of courses, including an MA in Christian Spirituality, and many short courses on topics including faith and politics, the arts, and environmental issues.
Sarum College provides residential facilities for groups of up to 50, with common room, bar and restaurant.
Sarum College can host meetings, seminars and conferences of up to 80 people in a range of fully-equipped meeting rooms, as well as providing catering and residential accommodation as appropriate.
Sarum College Bookshop offers a vast range of new and second-hand books on theological and religious subjects.
