Specialist Family Support

Our therapeutic One to One service is delivered through our area teams. Staff are grouped into teams of approximately six, each with an Area Manager. The Area Managers are focusing on a particular area of Birmingham and are supported whilst still being part of a supportive and holistic company.

Where Malachi has a strong and growing presence there is a desire to maximize its effectiveness and accessibility by managing Family Centres (HUBs). These, whenever possible, will be located in a community setting and will house a Multi-agency panel made up of Malachi's Family Support Team, a CAF co-ordinator, and representatives of all other relevant service providers. From this community base, services will be delivered. In some cases that may be in the school, the home or other community locations.

This model has already been commissioned in the Billesley, Shenley and Frankley Clusters with interest being shown from other Clusters.
